THE CHALLENGE
The customer manufactures high volumes of stainless chip holder components for their various devices. Deep cleaning is essential prior to installation to prevent any contamination that could cause circuit failure or other electronic components to malfunction. After machining, the customer sends each chip holder through an advanced, four-stage ultrasonic cleaning process that includes chemical cleaners, heat, deionized water, and air drying.

Their previous cleaning solution left significant stamping oil residue on the chip holders, requiring repeated processing and manual cleaning, significantly reducing throughput, and increasing cleaner consumption. The fluid is compatible with a wide array of materials, including stainless steel, as well as brass, copper, aluminum, and alloys. THE RESULTS
After switching to CLEAN 2020, the customer completely eliminated contamination from the stainless steel chip holders, without the need to repeat any steps or manually clean parts. The product proved even more effective at a lower concentration than the previous solution, cleaning more efficiently at just 7%, compared to 14% concentration with the competitor's product.
