EcoVadis Sustainability Rating

Master Fluid Solutions Europe (Master Fluid Solutions WDG GmbH) has received the EcoVadis for the second time a Bronze Medal for corporate sustainability.

EcoVadis is a globally recognized rating platform that evaluates companies on their environmental, social, and ethical practices. Participating in this assessment helps us benchmark our performance, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and continuously raise our standards.

We are proud that our current rating places us among the top 35% of all companies assessed by EcoVadis. This result reflects our ongoing commitment to transparency, responsibility, and positive impact across our daily operations.

The Bronze Medal is a recognition of the hard work and dedication of our entire team, who integrate sustainability into what we do every day. We are greatful for everybody’s involvement and are ready to build on this achievement and keep moving forward.

Product Carbon Footprint Project with our Partner Carbon Minds

Our sustainability efforts are driven by our desire to create long-lasting value for our customers, partners, and the environment. Growing expectations in the market support this direction and reflect the increasing relevance of transparent climate action.

A key parameter in this context is the Product Carbon Footprint (PCF), which measures the total greenhouse gas emissions of a product over its entire life cycle — from raw material extraction to end-of-life.

In 2025, we advanced our sustainability efforts on product-level by entering into a partnership with Carbon Minds. Together, we implemented a company-wide methodology for calculating Product Carbon Footprints that is fully aligned with ISO 14067:2018 and with the UEIL/ATIEL PCF guidelines for lubricants and specialty products.

This robust and transparent framework ensures consistent, comparable, and credible (reliable) carbon footprint calculations at our European site across all our product lines ,supporting both our internal sustainability goals and the needs of our customers.

Using this approach, we began in 2025 to calculate the PCF of key products and have set ourselves a clear target: by the end of 2026, we aim to have determined the cradle-to-gate PCF for our entire European product portfolio.
