Emulsion Cutting & Grinding Fluids

Geared up for production:

With superior lubricity and a higher oil content, TRIM emulsions provide a greater boundary layer between the tool and the material, and are ideal for heavy duty applications such as broaching, reaming, deep hole drilling, drilling, tapping, and centerless grinding.

TRIM Emulsions work well for machining copper, yellow metals, steel alloys, cast aluminums, wrought aluminums, and tough-to-machine titanium and nickel-based alloys.

TRIM™ E206KS

Long-life Emulsion

TRIM E206KS is a high quality universal emulsion coolant concentrate. It has been designed for a very broad range of metals allowing its effective use in most cutting and grinding operations, which requires minimal maintenance even in the most demanding fluid management systems. It has the lubricity and "guts" necessary to do heavy-duty machining. The stable and predictable performance of TRIM E206KS makes it a first choice for high-quality, consistent parts manufacturing.

  • Very stable formula provides long operational life with consistent performance
  • Has a very wide application range allowing its effective use on cutting and grinding
  • Extremely hard water tolerance
  • Extremely stable fine particle size emulsion to reduce carry-off and super-high penetrability to get the fluid to the point of cut
  • Provides good tool life and surface finishes
  • High tramp oil resistance for easy oil remove, longer coolant life and more opportunities to be recycled
  • Leaves a very light oily, non-gumming residue to prevent sticky ways, chucks, tool holders and fixtures
  • Coolant residue is easily removed with either water, working solution or aqueous cleaners
  • Good cleaning performance keeps machine tool very clean
  • Easy recycling or disposal with conventional techniques and equipment
  • Run effectively for long periods without the need for costly additives

TRIM™ E709

Long-life Emulsion

TRIM™ E709 is high-quality, universal soluble oil which requires minimal maintenance in even the most demanding fluid management systems. It has broad application in machining and grinding on a wide range of materials. The high levels of both chemical and mechanical lubricity in this product handle the tough machining and grinding jobs. The stable and predictable performance of E709 makes it a first choice for high-quality, consistent parts manufacturing.

  • Very stable formula provides long operational life with consistent performance
  • Extremely hard water tolerant
  • Very wide application range, suitable for both grinding and machining
  • Fine particle size emulsion reduces carryoff and facilitates getting the fluid to the point of cut
  • In high-speed turning and milling, E709 has the right balance of cooling and lubrication to provide good tool life and surface finishes
  • Compatible with aluminum, steel alloys, cast iron, and yellow metals
  • Protects machine and tool surfaces while also preventing sticky ways, chucks, tool holders, and fixtures
  • Coolant is easily removed with water, working solution, or aqueous cleaners
  • Easy recycling or disposal with conventional techniques and equipment
  • Does not contain or test positive for phenol
  • Will run effectively for long periods without the need for costly additives

TRIM™ E860

Low-foam, High-lubricity Emulsion

TRIM E860 is a high-quality, general purpose emulsion for use on a broad range of ferrous and nonferrous metals, effective in most cutting and grinding operations. The stable and predictable performance of E860 makes it a first choice for precision and consistent parts manufacturing.

  • Very wide application range
  • Good hard water tolerance
  • Keeps machine tools clean
  • Works very well in general machining
  • Very stable formula provides good operational life with consistent performance
  • High tramp oil resistance for easy oil removal and longer coolant life
  • Easily recycled or disposed of using conventional techniques and equipment
  • Good balance of cooling and lubrication providing good tool life and surface finishes
  • Leaves a very light, oily, non-gumming residue to prevent sticky ways, chucks, tool holders, and fixtures
  • Extremely stable fine particle size emulsion allows for reduced carry-off and super-high penetrability to get the fluid to the point of cut
